Cumberland County District PTA, along with Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc.; has funded Glendale Acres Elementary School PTA with a $1,000 SPICE (Strengthening Parent Involvement in Children’s Education) grant for their PAWS Together (“Parents Assisting at School Weekly” Together) volunteer program.  This program is a huge help to the teachers and administration and benefits the students.  Moreover, it allows parents an opportunity to communicate with each other, school staff members, and PTA Board members; and to become more involved in his or her child’s education.
