Spanish instruction beginning in Kindergarten
Enhancement of communication skills by developing multicultural understanding and experiences
Promotes acceptance of different nationalities of people by developing an understanding of their cultures and customs
Essential foreign language communication skills will enable students to compete in a global society
Every child (K-2) receives one 35 minute class of Spanish instruction each week
Use of Spanish is incorporated in schoolwide areas such as: announcements, Bear News Network, parent reports/letters, parent newsletter, parent-student handbook, and student performance program
